INSPIRATION: ART & DESIGN: MODERN NUDES
During my Art Foundation course many moons ago I used to miss a lot of my life drawing classes and now I really regret it. Looking at naked flesh the Friday morning after a late Thursday night out at a club was not a priority, but I kind of wish I went more. I recently found a lot of my artwork from that time and binned a lot of it (you could tell from my squiggly lines and lack of effort that I was hungover and not feeling it) but the ones I did put the effort in for I really loved and am thinking about framing and putting up at home. I have seen so many beautiful pieces recently featuring the body that I thought I’d share them all with you. From ceramics, to paintings, textiles, and everything in between. I’d love to know if you have any nudes in your home and where you put them.
