After a harrowing home invasion and kidnapping in 2015, a couple is accused of staging the ordeal when the woman reappears in this true-crime docuseries.
TRIVIA: Shortly after the film's release, the Vallejo Police Department's Yelp page was shut down due to being overwhelmed with negative comments.
MY VERDICT: I was already aware of the events of this series before I watched it but it was made all the more real by being told by the people involved in their own words. I’m not going to spoil too much off what happens in case you don’t know but it is a truly unbelievable story that I would recommend. Especially to true crime fans.
