INSPIRATION: ART & DESIGN: SKETCHBOOKS AND JOURNALS
I have kept a sketchbook for a really long time. Although I’m not always drawing or sketching or noting ideas down in it – there’s always one on the go. It’s something that was encouraged in my early days of graphic design back in college and I have had one ever since. Mostly now I use it for house designs and measurements of rooms and gardens and whatever house project I happen to be planning at the time but I also sketch down little notes for art projects that I hope to one day have time for and write down weird dreams that I remember the next day.
I feel like a sketchbook is a little look into someone’s mind, so it was so much fun to research some sketchbooks and journals for this blog post. I’ve included a lot of different types here, from travel sketch journals, artists notebooks and photo journals.
