INSPIRATION: INTERIORS: ESSEX COUNTRYSIDE HOUSE

I love a house made of bricks – my house is brick-built and I think it adds character (and was, as we know the best house to keep the wolf from blowing it down.) This house I am sharing with you is a modern brick house, or rather a collection of houses. The thing that drew me to them apart from the initial beautiful brickwork was the wonderful colour of the windows and doors. Its bold but not bright, its different and unusual but not in a quirky or eccentric way. It’s a feature that brings something new and the colour works so well with the colour of the brick and stands out but not in a garish way. Whoever picked the colour is a genius in picking hues. 

I will share with you some of my favourite features including a colourful bathroom that doesn’t look too crazy and the wonderful flooring in the kitchen that might make you think the house is older than it is.
