Designer Lyndsay Caleo, who runs The Brooklyn Home Company, a family-run development firm, and her sculptor husband Fitzhugh Karol transformed this 19th-century brownstone into a beautiful modern home.

 

I love the way that this house has been transformed with some really beautiful unique wooden pieces and wonderful artwork.

Other things I love about this space are;

  • The expertly styled coffee table book selection

  • The armchair artwork combination with minimalist sensibilities

  • That aspirational boot room that looks perfect in every way

  • The light pouring into the kitchen

  • Amazing high ceilings that are perfect for the large artworks

  • Extravagant lighting over the natural looking dining table
