JUST FINISHED WATCHING: THE GOOD PLACE (2016–2020)

There is a podcast about the behind the scenes of this show called The Good Place: The Podcast. The host is Marc Evan Jackson who plays Shawn on the show and he interviews members of the cast and crew.

The stores in The Good Place include: All Chocolate Everything, All the Books, Infinite Light, The Good Plates, Everything Fits Clothes Store, Your Anticipated Needs, Warm Blankets, Childhood Mementos, and at least eight different frozen yogurt stores.

Tahani (Jameela Jamil)'s first name means Congratulations and her last name (Al-Jamil ) means Beautiful.

MY VERDICT: I don’t always review the TV shows I watch but I felt the need to praise this one. I’m the kind of person who would rather watch a drama or thriller series than a comedy but for me this series had so much more than most comedies out there. I’m not going to give away the plot but I just want to say the scope of the characters and time and philosophy is dealt in such an interesting and clever way that this was always guaranteed to bring some cheer and lightness into my day. Although I will miss it immensely I’m glad that they ended it here and didn't try to milk it for any more story than needed to be told because in theory it could have gone on forever.
