INSPIRATION: ART & DESIGN: ARTISTS IN THEIR STUDIOS
This post includes three of my favourite things about art and artists; firstly, I love to see where people create – their creative space (my ‘studio’ is more of a very small office but I’m in the process of giving it a makeover so seeing other spaces is great inspiration). Secondly, I love to see the artist behind their work, so often if an artist isn’t world famous as a personality, then we never really know is behind their amazing pieces, I find it fascinating to try to guess what an artist is like from their art. And thirdly, of course I like to see the art and I like to see art in progress on wall surrounded by the tools of their craft. So, for me this research was so much fun and hopefully I’ve opened your eyes to some new artists (as well as I’ve put some of those famous faces in there because it’s also fascinating to see how they worked and what kind of space they created) and maybe some inspiration for your own interior space whether you’re an artist or not.
I had so much fun creating this post and there’s so many other artists I could have included I’m thinking of creating another one soon, so if you’re an artist with an interesting space or you know of one please get in touch and I’d love to include them.
