INSPIRATION: INTERIORS: A COLOURFUL VICTORIAN HOME

I found images of this house a little while ago and just had to share it with you. In some ways it’s an amalgamation of all the posts I’ve done in the past, the use of colour blocking and colours and the modern with the old.

Here are a few of the things I love most about this space, maybe it can inspire one of your future projects?

• The wonderful use of the colour blue

• The artistic use of colour blocking

• The use of abstracts, both in the art and the painting of walls and furniture

• Big round lamps

• The patterned tiles in the bathroom and the way the colour block splits the room in two

• Stripes up the stairs

• Yellows in some blocks to make the room look lighter and brighter
