INSPIRATION: INTERIORS: BROOKLYN BROWNSTONE MADE MODERN

This space, although beautiful, was old and dark and desperately needed updating, there are a few things I would have done a little differently – I would have kept more of a hallway, I’m not a huge fan of front doors opening into living rooms but my god the light in that kitchen!!

Here are a few of my favourite things;

• The way the kitchen has such big windows and light and the way it’s arranged just let all that light in

• The huge oven and useful worktop space in the kitchen

• The moulding that matches the age of the house but done in a modern way

• All the parquet and hardwood floors

• The black and white modern bathroom

• The stylish and comfortable looking dining room chairs

• The spacious living room with large windows

• Beautiful pocket doors
