FILM 2325: LOOPER (2012)

TRIVIA: Joseph Gordon-Levitt was fitted with prosthetics, and studied past movies, in order to play Bruce Willis' younger self. He was so successful that Willis recognized his own mannerisms in their scenes together.

The screenplay for this film was featured in the 2010 Blacklist; a list of the "most liked" unmade scripts of the year.

Early on, Joe is shown studying French without much success. Ironically, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is quite fluent in French.

This movie marks the third collaboration between director Rian Johnson and lead actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the first being Brick (2005), and the second being a quick cameo in The Brothers Bloom (2008) as a bar patron with guitar.

ONE SENTENCE REVIEW: Not too complicated for a time travel movie, I enjoyed a lot about this film but the fact the JGL looks nothing like Willis is very offputting.
