FOCUS ON: SOUP
It’s that time of the year, for me one of my least favourites. The festive period is over, New Year’s is done. And now we’re cold and waiting for Spring (us in the UK anyway). So the only thing to get me through, is hibernation, good things to watch on TV under layers of blankets with scented candles glowing around me and a nice warm bowl of soup. It’s hearty, healthy and warming and it’s all that’s needed to get through these long cold nights. I thoroughly enjoyed putting this blog post together of all things soup-related, imagining eating each one on a winter’s night, but some of them look so good I’d try them year-round to be honest. (And I have eaten soup when the feeling takes me in some warm destinations, in India of all places!). I hope this post gives you some inspiration and not just for soup but even just for flavour combinations.
