JUST FINISHED WATCHING: THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD (2017–2019)

James is 17 and is pretty sure he is a psychopath. Alyssa, also 17, is the cool and moody new girl at school. The pair make a connection and she persuades him to embark on a road trip in search of her real father.

TRIVIA: Although the show takes place in the present, all the cars shown were well out of production at the time of filming, even police cars and taxis.

Based on the graphic novel by Charles Forsman.

Three actors in this TV series, Naomi Ackie, Bronwyn James, and Tim Key all appeared in Mickey 17 (2025).

MY VERDICT: I enjoyed this show, I think the first season is much better than the second, it’s got a better pace and more engaging storyline but overall it’s got a great cast, a great soundtrack and an interesting look.
