JUST FINISHED WATCHING: THE PERFECT COUPLE (2024)

When one lavish wedding ends in disaster before it can even begin--with a body discovered in Nantucket Harbor just hours before the ceremony--everyone in the wedding party is suddenly a suspect.

TRIVIA: Everybody in the cast was upset when they learned they needed to do a dance sequence, with some cast members even calling their representatives to try to renegotiate. The only exception was Liev Schreiber, who was excited to do it.

While this is their first time working together, Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber have known each other for many years as Kidman is best friends with Schreiber's former partner, Naomi Watts. Kidman actually asked Watts if it was ok to cast Schreiber opposite her before the project got underway.

MY VERDICT: I do love a rich person fiasco, as I have started to call these shows, this one isn’t the best, but it’s totally watchable. I did find the dance sequence a little cringe, but I think that was the point.
